Rose M Saint Elien, MSW, LMSW

Rose is a wife, a mom of 4, an individual/family behavior coach, Christian Life Coach, Consultant with 25 years of experience in counseling and 13 years of positive behavior coaching, early childhood. She is the Founder of Well-Hope Empowerment, a coaching and educational practice that brings positive solutions to families with young children, schools and individuals who seek a new way to solve life challenges. Rose also practice therapy under supervision with a practice in New York where she helps treat patients with anxiety and depression, grief, emotional and behavioral issues.  In addition, her 20 plus years of working in faith based ministries has enhanced her ability to coach families who are seeking for a Christian Coach or  mentor to solve spiritual and diverse family issues.

Education & Credentials

Rose holds a Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work from New York University (NYU), an LMSW credential from New York State, a New Jersey School Certification Endorsement, a course certification credential from Harvard University on Public Speaking and a course certification from Yale University on Effective Parenting as well as a certificate from Rutgers University School of Social Work Continuing Education on Assessment and Differential Diagnosis of Children. In addition, she has a post bachelors training in Mental Illness and Chemical Abuse (MICA) from Fordham University. Rose also completed courses and hold  certificates in the following areas: Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Couple’s Therapy, Child Abuse, Elder Abuse, Domestic Violence, Child Therapy, School Based Functional Behavioral Assessment (FBA) Ethics in Psychotherapy and Counseling, Substance Abuse for Early Childhood, Teaching Pyramid Observation Tool for coaching and the Pyramid Model- Positive Behavior Support to name a few.

Rose is highly accomplished in the counseling field for 25 years with 13 years of behavioral coaching experience with families and educators with young children or Early Childhood. Her competencies are derived from an eclectic background in coaching, Psychotherapy, counseling, case management, parenting psychoeducation as well as workshops/training, leadership roles and developmental parent training. Rose has a lifetime of administrative volunteer work with children and youth. Rose serves in the board of directors for a nonprofit and for a spiritual organization. Her greatest rewards are coaching parents and school staff to embrace a new way that has been proven to be effective to decrease challenging behaviors within early childhood schools and the home environment. Rose is known to be highly effective to solve difficult challenges due to her eclectic expertise in the therapeutic and the counseling field with individuals and families. Rose draws from a diverse modality such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Psychoanalytic theory, Gestalt theory, psychoeducation, Acceptance, as well as using cognitive positive behavior coaching modalities to lead her clients to self-transformation. Rose has a high ability to decipher between coaching and therapy needs when dealing with her clients given her wealth of knowledge in both fields. Rose has a proven track record of working with, individuals, and parents to help them become aware of their own emotions, and negative patterns behaviors that become a stumbling block to accomplishing the desired goals. Rose has a proving track records to empower her clients to achieve their goals.
